Lola & Jo are a character comedy double act from London and are proud members of generation anxiety.
Jo took her driving test in 2003 and passed 4th time. Lola failed in September 2017 but finally passed with three minors in February 2018

They have been working in the industry separately for a number of years. Trying to be funny together is a relatively new venture.
Jo's life before Lola:
Jo Griffin is a LAMDA trained writer/performer/comedian. Recent credits: THE VOTE (Donmar / Channel 4), PRIVACY, THE SAME DEEP WATER AS ME (Donmar Warehouse), Richard Herring's I KILLED RASPUTIN (Edinburgh Festival) & WELL FUNNY PEOPLE (BBC 3). As a writer/performer, Joanna's debut Edinburgh show in 2014, CLOWNSLUT toured the Battersea Arts Centre and was scouted for Latitude Festival 2015.

Jo performed Bricking It at The Underbelly during the Fringe, in a job swap show with her 73 year old builder dad.
Lola's life before Jo:
Lola Stephenson studied English and Drama at the University of Bristol, before taking an MA in Writing for Stage and Broadcast Media at the Central School of Speech and Drama. She is also a graduate of the Royal Court Young Writers' Programme. Recently selected for creative brainstorming sessions for Nickelodeon Television and CBBC New Voices initiative.
